Flights are available from Phnom Penh International Airport to Siem Reap International Airport, taking about 50 minutes. Flight prices range from $50 to $100 depending on the airline and booking time. Private taxis can also be hired, with prices around $100 to $120 for the trip.

Getting Around

Within Siem Reap and the Angkor Archaeological Park area, tuk-tuks are the most common mode of transport. Hiring a tuk-tuk driver for a full day to visit the temples typically costs between $15 and $25. Motorbike rentals are available and usually cost about $7 to $10 per day. Bicycles can also be rented for around $2 to $5 per day, suitable for those comfortable with cycling longer distances and traffic.

What to See

Angkor Wat is the largest temple and main attraction, built in the early 12th century, with a $37 one-day entry fee to the entire park. Angkor Thom, located about 1.5 km north of Angkor Wat, is known for the Bayon Temple, featuring large stone faces. Ta Prohm is popular for its trees growing over ruins and was featured in films.
