Getting There

From Phnom Penh, there are several bus companies operating routes to Koh Kong town. The journey covers approximately 150 km and takes around 4 to 5 hours by road. Popular bus companies include Capitol Tours and Giant Ibis. Ticket prices range from $8 to $12 USD one-way. Buses depart from Phnom Penh’s main bus stations, such as the Capitol Bus Station. From Siem Reap, there is no direct bus to Koh Kong; travelers usually need to transfer in Phnom Penh. Alternatively, private car hires are available but cost significantly more, around $70 to $100 USD for a one-way trip.

Getting Around

Within Koh Kong town and nearby areas, tuk-tuks are the most common form of local transport. A typical short ride costs $1 to $3 USD. Motorbike rentals are available for about $7 to $10 USD per day and provide flexibility for visiting nearby attractions. Bicycle rentals are less common but can be found at some guesthouses for approximately $3 to $5 USD per day. What to See

Koh Kong Bridge is a notable infrastructure landmark spanning the estuary and provides scenic views.
