I can’t recommend this cooking class highly enough! The whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. Vannak picks you up, and together you decide which dishes you’ll prepare. Then you visit the local market to shop for all the fresh ingredients before heading to his home to cook the delicious food with his family around. I had a fantastic time cooking and getting to know him. Vannak is an amazing chef and a great host. It was truly an unforgettable experience!🙏🏻✨

Spent a fabulous morning doing Vannak’s cooking class at his farm. We started the morning buying fresh produce at a local market, learning about different fish, spices and vegetables and getting to taste some of the fruits not available in our home countries. Then off to the farm we went, learning the preparation and cooking methods for three delicious dishes. Vannak’s love of his country, culture and cuisine is simply wonderful. Highly recommend this experience for anyone interested in authentic paddock to plate cooking. 5 ⭐️

5 stars isn’t enough! An absolute highlight for us. While looking for vegetarian/vegan food, we came across this restaurant and immediately loved it. The food was incredibly fresh, delicious, and full of nuanced flavors. Because we felt so well taken care of, we decided right away to book the cooking class with Vannak as well. Vannak truly lives for cooking and you can feel it in everything he does. He prepares authentic Khmer cuisine, which is unfortunately not that easy to find. He also places great importance on using fresh, local ingredients. Going to the market with Vannak was already a very insightful experience. Since we don’t eat meat, we bought some really delicious mushrooms. After that we continued to his home in the countryside. The cooking itself was great fun, as Vannak is very attentive and explains everything clearly and patiently. Every dish was completely vegan. You really get to do every single step of the preparation yourself, which makes the whole experience even more special. During the class and while eating together, we not only had great conversations about cooking techniques, but also about culture, history, and what‘s going on in the world. Would recommend 100%!

We had a really nice authentic experience with Vannak. He took us to the local market and afterwards we went to his lovely home for the cooking class. His English is really good and we had really interesting conversations about the authentic Cambodian cuisine and he learned us how to cook the dishes with basic tools. The dishes were delicious and we had the best meal of our whole trip so far!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 five stars, would highly recommend this experience

The first thing we did in Battambang after checking in at our homestay was join a cooking class. We decided to book it here, and it turned out to be an incredible experience in the countryside. We started by shopping for our own ingredients at the local market, where we learned about regional and seasonal produce, and tasted some of it along the way. Vannet explained how local farmers bring their harvest to the market every day to sell directly to the community. Afterward, we headed back to the kitchen and prepared a series of delicious dishes. We were free to ask as many questions as we wanted, taste ingredients while we chopped, and pick up new techniques step by step. It was the perfect introduction to the flavors and food culture of the region.
