KEP SUR MER Restaurant

Kep Seafood Restaurant redirects here on Google Maps so I’ll post my review here. The balcony is set back from the neighbouring restaurants so the view is limited. ‘Tempura’ vegetables use a thick batter, not tempura. And the crab meat with green pepper contains very little crab, despite the higher price compared to the whole crab equivalent. The owner (I believe he owns both of these restaurants) is very nice, but there are better restaurant options along this strip.

Very nice small restaurant with sea view. A great choices of seafood and khmer foods. Nice choice of drinks too. The staff is very friendly and the drinks and foods we choosed were delicious

I'm still thinking about the appies ~ prawn tempura and crab cakes were fabulous. "We ate here both of our nights in Kep kind of fabulous!" The staff were lovely, good English and happy to serve cocktails without plastic straws (GnT's do not need straws!) and you are on top of the water - what a view! $2/cocktails for happy hour, intensely rich crab amok and lovely fried squid with green pepper. You might see the motorcycle rental and ice cream freezer first, but take a step in for the full experience

Delicious food and great service. Great view at sunset. We had the grilled prawns, crab cakes and gin fizz cocktail. Would recommend all! Lovely staff that were very helpful.

Really delicious food & great place right off the water!! The staff were all super friendly & kind & the food was exceptional!! Some of the best crab cakes I've ever had!! Also got the sweet & salty prawns, which was really yummy as well & the passion fruit juice too!! Definitely plan to go back again!!
