Kun Khmer is most well known for its kicking technique, which generates power from hip rotation rather than snapping the leg. Kun Khmer consists of four types of strikes: punches, kicks, elbows, and knee strikes. The clinch is used to wear down the opponent. In the clinch, opponents battle for a dominant position for short-range strikes by way of elbows and knees. Cambodian fighters tend to utilize more elbow strikes than other martial arts in the region. In Kun Khmer, more victories come by way of an elbow technique than any other strike.

The fish ammo is too small to feed an adult. It’s suitable only for children and it is tasteless. There’s spring roll fried in old oil, complete disaster not worth the money. Their salad was good however.

Cozy location with high quality traditional food. Most dishes include fish or meat as it's the cambodian style of cuisine but I found a vegan version which was super delicious. The prices are ok. The portion size is on the smaller side.

You can walk around Phnom Penh, and see Khmer food being displayed on restaurant menus in the street everywhere. But the authentic look of the decor of the outside of this restaurant, and the elegant furnishing and well presented staff, made this place very inviting. You are immediately impressed by the spacious and very comfortable seating, the impressive surrounding and extensive menu. We chose the Pork Ribs, with and extra serving of steamed vegetables, and Fish Amok. All arrived together, and extremely well presented. You can appreciate that the chefs at this restaurant care about the food they serve, and are aware that presentation can instantly make customers feel good about their dining experience. Every element of the food was excellent, so much so, that we found ourselves savouring every bite, and took our time to enjoy the perfectly cooked and presented dishes, served wonderfully by attentive staff, and in awe of the very Cambodian refinement, the restaurant displays. I have had Fish Amok at many places being one of my favorite dishes, but the version of the dish here, was possibly the best i have ever tasted. This restaurant is Highly Recommended.

Authentic Khmer Vibes & Well-Seasoned Dishes Raksmey Khmer Surin stands out with its traditional Khmer-style decor that creates a warm, cultural atmosphere. The Fish Amok is rich and creamy—definitely a highlight. Other dishes like stir-fried ginger beef, crispy squid, and pineapple fried rice are also well-seasoned and satisfying. However, the sweet desserts were a bit too sugary for my taste. Overall, a great spot to enjoy Cambodian flavors with balanced seasoning and cozy ambiance.

We loved the food. The flavour was bursting and making our taste buds happy. We got the fish amok and wow so dang good. Would eat it over and over again. We also got spicy papaya salad which is our favourite and some yummy red curry between two of us. Perfect for Sharing. Thank you for a great experience and also we love the beauty of your restaurant! We will come again!
