Authentic Stories from Diners
Wow, wow, wow! This restaurant hit all the right notes from ambiance (furnishing, light fixtures, place settings, dining room layout), to the team that is attentive but unobtrusive. We had the tasting menu with the premium wine pairing and the four of us agreed that it’s the best meal we have had in a long time. From the amuse bouche surprise to the amazing chicken soup and slow cooked pork. Each course was beautifully presented and perfectly balanced. The accompanying wines were delicious with generous pours. Five stars to the Chef and her all-female team. A must visit if you are a foodie visiting Siem Reap.
Be prepared to be transported to a different realm with this culinary journey. As you walk in, you forget that you are in the middle of a bustling city. The ambiance is complimented with a welcoming staff that makes you feel important but excited all at once. The food brought regional taste and culture to a finer level taste as well. It was noticeable the care and creativity that went into this dining experience. I would not be surprised if they earn themselves a star at some point.
Amazing restaurant in Siem Reap! Run by a Cambodian female chef, with Cambodian female employees only, this place is a bit like heaven on Earth! Very close to perfection! The venue is lovely and beautifully decorated, food is wonderful and staff is so nice and professional! They make you visit the kitchen as part of the set menu. And we met the chef at the end of our diner. Unforgettable experience!
Honestly one of the best meals I have had. The staff is wonderfully warm and polite but not overbearing. You really get the feeling like you are being taken care by a friend or family member. Multiple times, I was offered if I wanted a course again which, while declined, was greatly appreciated. The food was delicious and fresh with some ingredients grown in their own beautiful garden. The food was a great meeting of Khmer tastes and smells with the refinement expected of modern fine dining restaurant. Also as a nondrinker I highly appreciated the herbal infusion pairings. Highly recommended. I am considering going again tomorrow
Back for the second time — my first visit was in June 2024 — and I was genuinely looking forward to trying the new menu. Embassy did not disappoint. In fact, the presentation has become even more refined, and every course felt beautifully thought-through. Service was excellent, especially from Lun Seavching, who was attentive, warm, and knowledgeable throughout the evening. The ingredients were incredibly fresh. I love Khmer food — from home-cooked dishes to local street favourites — and it’s always fascinating to see how Chef Kimsan reinvents these flavours without losing their soul. Embassy remains one of the best places to experience elevated Khmer cuisine done with heart and creativity. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Siem Reap.
