Khmer Kitchen Restaurant

Ate here while on a weeks stay in January and had the Beef Lok Lak. The food was delicious and when I ordered I didn't realise that I would be given rice too to accompany the dish. Sat outside and even had conversations with people who were just walking past and interested in the food. Great little place to sit and people watch as the location on the corner means there are plenty of people walking by due to the market, nearby bridge over the river and nearby Pub street. Even with the closeness of Pub street the noise was not loud here.

Food was on point and staff was very friendly. Of course we tried the morning glory, spring rolls, sparkling water, milkshake, fries, salad and last but not least Luc Lock. Of course the plate ended up clean at the end, but overall good course.

Khmer Kitchen is a great restaurant located right next to the Old Market in the city center. There are outdoor tables with fans, so even on hot days you can sit comfortably. The food is fresh, very tasty, and reasonably priced. We visited this place twice during our trip and were impressed every time. We ordered Deep Fried Spring Rolls, Mango Salad — which in our opinion is the best in all of Siem Reap and made fresh — as well as Khmer Curry and Fish Amok. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and more than enough for two people. Highly recommended for authentic Khmer food at a great price in a lively but comfortable location!

It’s my best meal in Siem Reap. The banana heart salad was delicious & so was the deep fried fish. Huge serving portions but I ate everything on my own. The service was beyond expectations. Sreyleak was very friendly & efficient. The rest of the team were always smiling as well. Highly recommended.

Fresh vegetarian rice wraps and the Khmer Special Chicken Curry were both fantastic. Seyha was awesome, we had a nice chat about his plan to travel. He and the rest of the staff were just as amazing. We sat outdoors at a casual, roof-covered table, and everything was soooo yummy!
