Old Maison Eatery

Old Maison Eatery has been recommended as one of the 13 best restaurants in Siem Reap. Loved the mix of plastered concrete walls decorated with old-fashioned "French Chic". The service is perfect, efficient, friendly, thoughfull, attentive, and always with a smile. We had the fish amok, a veggie curry and mango salad. All dishes were bursting with flavor, wonderfully plated, of good portion and at a very reasonable price. The rice is served in a flower made of fried rice-paper (brilliant idea). We would rank the Old Maison Eatery as THE BEST RESTAURANT IN SIEAM REAP. 10/10.

Excellent food, atmosphere and service! We came after researching reviews and really enjoyed the rice cakes - both the Heritage Plate (pork) and The Childhood Memories (chicken). The green mango salad was a perfect completion for our appetizers. The passion soda - wow! And the mango lemonade was delightful too. We were almost too full but also enjoyed the flavors of the pork chop and beef fettuccine entrees! Great double date spot when we return to Siem Reap!

One of the best eateries in Siem Reap. Great local and Western food at very reasonable prices...but book in advance as its always busy. Service is probably the best we've had in Cambodia, the fit out is really cool, feels like a high end restaurant in Melbourne or London. For starters we had the rice cakes and the Shrimp. Both traditional dishes. Shrimp wasnt great but thats the dish, no faulton the kitchen. The pepper sauce with it was delicious. The sauce that came with the rice crackers was amazing and worth the price of admission alone. For mains, we had a Beef Saraman curry which you don't see on menus as often as you should. Was excellent. The Amok was one of the best I've had. The banana spring rolls were a great way to end the meal. The brownie pot however needed more ice cream as it was a little rich and dry. Was hoping it would be gooey inside but unfortunately not. Cheap beers although the passion soda here is probably the best you'll get anywhere on Cambodia. Really recommend this place. Feels like it should cost way more than it does.

Such a lovely restaurant in Siem Reap, on a quiet street. The staff were welcoming and attentive. A big menu to choose from. I loved the passion fruit soda. Well priced meals and an interesting selection to choose from. Delicious desserts. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had dinner at Old Maison and it was fantastic!! The food was fresh delicious and Yumm, service impeccable and very cozy comfortable. We ordered green mango salad and lake side rice crackers for starters, both were great. For mains we ordered chicken cashew nuts and Fish Amok, both dishes came with steamed rice and were filled with of flavour. Special mention to Fish Amok which was exceptional!!! Pineapple spring rolls with ice cream did not disappoint at all. Overall it was amazing dinner experience and highly recommend!
