Delightful Indonesian food, wide variety of dishes, very appealing prices, extremely welcoming, friendly and accommodating staff, clean and pleasant environment. Most importantly though the food is really nice. I'm a big fan of Indonesian cuisine, but many Indonesian restaurants in Cambodia are far beyond acceptable in many ways. This one is highly recommended! Thanks to the staff for hospitality. 🙏🏻

Given the high number of Indonesians working in Sihanoukville (some not exactly by choice), I had high hopes for this restaurant. I’ve traveled extensively across Indonesia, and I genuinely enjoy the cuisine—whether it’s street-side ayam or drinking bone marrow through a straw. Indonesia’s culinary diversity is always a highlight. Unfortunately, Tambuah is basic at best—and expensive. I sampled a few dishes and had a lemon iced tea, but nothing stood out. The worst part is the lack of table service, which feels out of place considering their pricing and their proximity to five-star hotels and casinos. For what they charge, they’re missing the mark. 2/5 stars.

This was my first time trying Indonesian food—super flavorful and spicy! As someone who loves spicy food, I was pleasantly surprised by how much heat Indonesian dishes pack. The staff here was really nice and patient, he explaining each dish to me. Highly recommend!

Superb original Padang food. Original taste . Met the wonderful lady chef Ms.IPe from Indonesia. A must go place when you in Sihanouk . Just right opposite holiday palace. Another wonderful hotel .

Loved this authenticity of Padang cuisine with tolerable spiciness and moderate saltiness. The rendang was awesome and the trio sambal were superb. I had keripik paru which went perfect with the gulai singkong (cassava leaf curry). Don't forget the tea (hot/iced). It was flown out from Indonesia. The staff were friendly. Very clean room and cosy ambience. Amazing food with a reasonable price. I will come back for sure.
