Phnom Penh was my first taste of Cambodia. In some ways it reminded me of other Asian cities I've visited, but in other ways it felt completely different. What struck me immediately was how courteous and friendly the people were. I spent a couple of days here with Mr. Tom, my tuk-tuk driver, visiting the Royal Palace, the Genocide Museum, taking a river cruise along the Mekong, and getting lost in the Russian Market. The warmth of the people is one of the special things about this country.
