The food was overcooked and wasn’t that flavourful. They have a great area and the server was really nice but we just had higher expectations for the food based on the reviews. The passion fruit smoothie was great though!

Such a good restaurant. The staff are lovely, and there's a separate bar area with a good selection of drinks, where you can sit and relax before or after your meal. I opted for the fish amok, washed down with cold Cambodia beer, and it was excellent. Definitely recommended.

Authentic Khmer food with great flavors, clearly prepared with care. The place is very welcoming and offers plenty of space for kids to play, making it perfect for families. The owner and the staff are warm, friendly, and attentive, you immediately feel comfortable. It’s a really beautiful place to slow down, relax, and enjoy the moment. Overall, it feels like a special spot with real character, almost like a small piece of history. I would happily come back again.

Absolutely impressive!! Best Khmer food in Kampot. I like the little originality in the recipe that makes the experience special. Also, it is a very family friendly atmosphere. Big grassy land to run around, big trampoline, super friendly doggys, and an outdoor playground is being built! Kids menu is tasty, good price, and satisfying portion (my 7 and 10 years old daughters ordered fish n chips and chicken nuggets) and they loved it. Really appreciate this service!

BEST Khmer food in Kampot 😻 I met Darin in Siem Reap and she told me about her restaurant 1960 so I made a special visit whilst in Kampot and I was blown away! Incredible food, with a twist on a traditional menu/flavours. Everything made with love and so fresh tasting. Must have the salt and pepper squid it is to die for, coming from an Aussie. The whole fish was amazing and such a good portion size, perfectly crispy on the outside and full of flavour. Really delicious smoothies with yummy flavour combos. We ordered the special which was caramel pineapple with vanilla ice cream and green peppercorn - very interesting flavours and great combination! Lovely spot would be perfect to bring kids, lots of grass, cute dogs and a trampoline. Most important Darin, she is an absolute gem and the most down to earth woman. She pours so much love into what she does and it really shows 💝
