Authentic Stories from Diners
A very cozy and heartwarming place in Kampot 💛 Epic Arts Café is not just a café, but a social project that provides jobs and opportunities for people with disabilities. You can truly feel the care and purpose behind everything they do. The staff are very friendly, the service is well organized (with a convenient order form), and the coffee and food are fresh and delicious. It’s especially meaningful to know that every purchase supports such an important initiative. If you’re in Kampot, definitely visit this café. It’s a place where you can enjoy great food and also make a positive difference. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Really enjoyed our breakfast here! The staff are all so lovely and they have a great menu to choose from. Food was all very good too! All for a good cause as well.
Excellent all around Had the muesli with fruit, house-made yogurt, and Cambodian honey. Very fresh and well balanced. Small Americano was excellent. Robusta beans with a dark, rich flavor. Pulled perfectly by the staff. Food quality clearly high. Nice presentation with blue and white dishes. Taste of food and coffee, and attention of staff to their work, all well above the price point. Great value for the cost. Plenty of fans and covered seating. Comfortable and not hot, even during the day. Likely will be hot during the hotter times of the year in the middle of the day, but many great value places in Kampot are open air. Staff were genuine, friendly, attentive, and patient. Special requests easy to communicate and understood. This place is strongly focused on equal opportunity, especially supporting the deaf community, which is a real need in Cambodia. Ordering is done by checking items on a paper form. Simple and makes the point that businesses can accommodate a wider range of employees by adapting processes. Small shop on site selling items made by local artisans, many connected to programs supporting disadvantaged people. Socially conscious and human-values driven in a genuine way. Relaxed, calm atmosphere. Chill, easygoing vibes. Good for families, groups, couples, or solo visitors.
I was in Kampot for about a week, and this café became my go-to spot to relax and slow down. The food was great, and the coffee is truly special. Epic Art Coffee employs people with disabilities, and everyone was genuinely friendly. It touched my heart to see how warmly and openly they served us. The atmosphere felt calm and welcoming — definitely a little gem I’ll happily return to on future stays.
During my four days in Kampot I visited Epic Arts Cafe at least four times. Everything I had to eat and everything I had to drink was top notch. Not only that, but the staff were super friendly and very helpful (they also seemed to be very happy too!). The location is clean, comfortable and relaxing. So, in a word, wonderful.
