I tried three hotels in Siem Reap over the course of a week. The Glorious Hotel had a proper lap pool surrounded by palms. The Hillocks Hotel and Spa had one of the most impressive lobbies I've seen, with Buddha statues and an indoor garden. And the Green Morodoc Garden Hotel was decked out in flags and stars for Khmer New Year, with a relaxed poolside area under frangipani trees. All three were under $60 a night.
